lion - step 1

All the planning is as done as it's going to get. I outlined the lion on the aida cloth, and now to start stitching. This will be black wool. I'll figure out the rest of it when this part is done.

He looks more like an heraldic tyger (sans nose hook) than a heraldic lion, to me. He is a very excellent beastie.
