I just posted a response-comment to Inlovewithnight's journal. Her post makes a lot of sense, but at the same time I feel obliquely honor-bound to defend what often seems like my indefensible gender. I rambled a hell of a lot and probably made little sense, and what I wrote will most likely be taken as "Oh, that's so typical for a man to say, what bullshit", but hell, 'Night hates me anyways so why not just say something instead of swallowing my words like I usually do.

*shrug* I don't think I give a damn anymore.

*nods* I hope everything at the Town Hall goes smoothly and they do check IDs. I have to say that I'm jealous you're going to hear Howard Dean as I have a bit of a political crush on him.

Totally. Especially when the writers admit to the problems and say the script is actually going to address it. I want to ask them if they've ever watched the 15 seasons and 2 made-for-TV movies of the other shows they wrote because I have. (Well, not all, but enough.)
