I have been there. Yes, god, it's awful, but you did it! And I'm so proud and so supportive. I hope the return is as wonderful as you deserve. *fingers crossed*

And I added this list to my memories - I think we have many of the same tastes in that we don't look for the obvious and we aren't afraid of rare-pairings or crossovers. Can't wait to read.

(And OMFG, I'm in awe that you rec'ed my secret_slasha story AFTER I was wallowing in it big time after never hearing nothin' from the recipient. You in your generosity have made a small New York woman feel joyful!)

Thanks for the good wishes for grad schools. At this point, I'm just pretty happy to have the applications are in someone else's hands. :)

Tact is overrated. Or really, these things take 2-4 hours to put together and I have to entertain myself with something besides Cheers re-runs and Iron Chef. Were you offended by something in particular that you could fully explain?

Unless you think they're okay, which then makes me confused.
