Is there such a thing as too many parties?

I want to have a barbecue this weekend. We don't even own a grill. Note to self: get a grill. One of those shiny ones. Mortimer's birthday is next week, and I graduate a few days later. Can I get away with parties for all of them?

Ali answers after a few minutes, looking surprised when she sees Merlin. "Oh! Hello."

Ali leans against the door, her hands resting on the knobs on either side and her cheek against the edge. "Can I help you with something, Merlin?"
