Ali carried Duo home. Well, to the basement at least, her little lavish sanctuary in reds and golds, where she set him down on the soft leather sofa. "Stay put." She went around the room, turning on lamps until it was quite bright, pausing to murmur something to a spider hanging in a corner.

She's left the door to the Nexus open.

Duo is trying to relax. But his back is killing him right now. His face though berays nothing about the...pain.

Once the lamps are lit she kneels beside him, taking one of his hands in hers. "Hey...Sasha'll be here soon and then we'll get you all sorted out."

He nods slowly. "Right....Thanks for helping me out Sli...You're a good friend. Least my ribs aren't..uh, like before."

Clint walked right through after them. He had to watch over Duo closely for now on. He wouldnt let this happen again.

"I could have carried him for you ali."

She spares but a moment to glare at Clint. "Don't ever mistake me for a weak little girl again."

Clint hits his hand on his forehead.

"You know that not what I meant. Anyways like I was saying he was on a fiel trip and someone managed to kidnap him."

"Do you have any concept of priorities, Clint?"

The spider scuttles away, and a few moments later a pale, slender woman wearing black descends the stairs. Her gaze takes in the tableau, and she nods slightly in understanding. "Is he conscious?"

"Yes, and talking, and very aware of his surroundings."
