Pursing her lips in thought for a moment, she adds, "may I do anything to help you, with the waltzes?"
"My track record isn't good, I'm afraid," she confesses. "There's a family in Poland that has been tending the same pig for three, going on four generations, thanks to my youthful interference. And I can only imagine what the pig makes of the situation." That wasn't one of her prouder escapades, indeed it wasn't.

Somebody's sneaking up behind Ali, to hug her as she types and incidentally read over her shoulder. "Well, the children are easy to adore. And as for you?" His brows lift, and his smile widens. "That goes beyond voluntary."
"Speaking of outcomes, Ali, I was wondering," Jack may betray just the teensiest hint of fretting as he pulls the lay figure into the doorway.
It's somewhat in the "Irish gown" style, albeit with more fitted sleeves than that phrase stereotypically evokes and a few other streamlining touches. After all, it's for court, not for 'history'. And it's red vermilion silk under...well, red vermilion silk. But the split-down-the-front overportion has been carefully damasked in many intricate thin lines of silver toile, providing a contrast with the portions that are pure vermilion.
Ali pushes her glasses up into her hair while she turns, and tries to sit quietly as she studies the dress. But for all her trying to sit quiet and appreciate the beauty, she can't keep her dimples from peeking out. And once they're out, there's no point in trying to contain herself is there?
"It's gorgeous. It looks, hmm, Irish?" She gives him a curious look.
She grins. "Mmm, but it did turn out so well. Aramis is quite interested in Samus, it seems. And I think the feeling is as mutual as she's ever managed with someone like Aramis."
Sometimes, Ali is a shameless gossip.
"I think they're going to go on a date soon. That should be interesting."
