A quick matter of taste

Today's been pretty quiet. I do have a quick question though, if anyone cares to help: which color wallpaper should I use for the nursery in Betäuben? Should I get green, and have the color scheme the same in both nurseries, or get natural so they're different

I like the green. The natural looks boring and real washed-out.

"I like the green too." She smiles faintly. "Where've you been hiding, and Rory? I haven't seen either of you in ages."

[alexa_parker]

Alexa smiles back. "I'm sorry. I haven't been around the Nexus or outside Jump or New York much. Just, you know... hanging in there." Read: thinking way too much, worrying about Rory doing his thing, and looking after the twins. "Have I missed anything majorly important? Weddings, birthdays, weird Nexus LOL?"

"Um, yeah...I got married again. There've been loads of el oh els. Yule. All sorts of things." She looks down at her new hand, shiny and metal and clockwork.

"Congradulations! Man, I feel awful, I wish I had gotten you a wedding gift or something..." She trails off when she sees Ali's hand, a questioning look on her face. "You... got upgraded?"

[vicioussweetie]

"Something like that. It wasn't really planned." She shrugs, trying to make it sound like it's no big (as opposed to the most terrifying thing ever). "Got in a bit of a fight, didn't duck fast enough one time. So I got this made."

Alexa, getting the vibes that maybe this isn't one of those happy fun things to talk about, nods. "It's cool. Does it work as well as the other hand?"

"For the most part. How're the twins?"

[alexa_parker]

Alexa smiles. "Learning how to stalk, starting to stand up. Semi-demi-gods grow up really fast, apparently. And they pick up on everything," she says with a groan. "The other day, I accidentally swore around them, and, well... Rissa's new favorite sound is 'fu!'."

She laughs. "Sound like babies all right. Iva's growing up really fast too, so I'm not surprised the twins are."

[alexa_parker]

"They're a handful. How old is Iva?"

[vicioussweetie]

"About a year, but she looks like a toddler already."

[alexa_parker]

"Aww. Rory said that he started slowing down around age two and that other kids finally caught up. I'm thinking that's probably good, cause it'd be weird to have a three-year-old look like an eight-year-old."

[vicioussweetie]

"Yeah, that'd make things more difficult."

[alexa_parker]

"I'm wondering what we're going to do if they start really taking after their dad. Like, if they start teleporting... I'm thinking, leashes and beepers."

[vicioussweetie]

She smirks. "Early training with Pinpoints?"
