Thanks to Rory, there's a new rule: no taking your frustrations at LOL out on me. You try it, and I get to bitch. And eventually hit you if you don't shut up. LOL's your own damn fault, and I'll help you if you're just freaking out (Ginta) but if you give me shit about it (Rory) you're on your own.

She shakes her head a little. "No, just needed to remind people I'm not going to put up with being treated like I'm the bad guy when something bad happens that's not my fault. And if Rory doesn't come around anymore because of it, oh well. Not a big loss, 'cause then he was never really a friend."

I've been to beaches like that a few times in my life. Not so beautiful during tropical storms. But abandoned places are the best - solitude does avoid a lot of awkward questions.

"Yes, I'd imagine it would. And it's far less likely someone else will find all the treasure you bury there, right?"

*this amuses him* Treasure! Naturally. And then I would have a marvellous spot in the sun to sit down and draw up a map for any fool to follow... *he draws an "X" in the air with one finger and looks at her sidelong*

She laughs. "Yes, and then you'd drink a nice bottle of rum, tuck the map into the empty bottle, and throw it in the ocean. See? I know all about being a pirate."
