Rest In Peace Aunty Jean

Mar 13, 2011 09:38

I don't really know what I want to put here but I feel the need to write and let people know that my "Aunty" Jean passed away early this morning. She's actually my grandfather's little sister... so she's my dad's Aunt not mine... Also Jean was her middle name, but her first name was the same as her mothers so she was always called Jean instead ( Read more... )

What a wonderful aunt to have. I'm so sorry she's gone - thinking of you.

We shall think supportive thoughts in each other's direction until we're both able to handle it. *Hugs back*

*HUGS*

And she is *your* Aunt - she's your Great-Aunt - or at least that's how I would have referred to her, aside from being simply a great person.

Hugs again!

*hugs* Thank you DM. I think you're right about the "great" thing. I always want to say grand, only because she's the same generation as my grandparents.

But yeah, Aunty Jean was great :)

Since it's all I can do from here... *hugs* I'm sorry to hear this news.

I'll be out for lunch today, but give me a call this afternoon if you want someone to talk to.

*cyber hugs back* Thank you. It's nice just to know you're there...
I might try and call you this afternoon... I'm not sure I'm really going to be able to talk easily though.

Enjoy your lunch

*hugs* a true 'Great' aunt in every sense of the word. Such people are a blessing in a person's life and the place they leave in your heart, while it hurts like hell to say goodbye, will always make you glad they were there.
