Characters: Yoko, Callista Day and Time: Day 2, Shift 2 - 1:00 PM Location: Pool Content: Yoko and Callista meet over discovering the 2nd floor pool. Warnings: None so far. ( Go with the flow with my pride )
Callista had also been spending the hours exploring the house. What she had found had been a little bit like some kind of timewarp. The kitchens all used outdated means to cook and the small communication devices, which she considered extremely primitive, had turned out to be the most advanced tech she could find in the entire place. It was slightly perplexing, but also gave more strength to the theory of some kind of time travel
( ... )
Yoko had been so busy marveling at the humongous, non-Gurren-Lagann-related, non-Anti-Spiral-related defiance of physics that she hadn't noticed the entrance of the other women either. She started a bit at the sudden voice behind her, though she recovered her composure quickly enough.
"Sorry, I haven't seen much of anyone else all day. Wasn't expecting to be joined," Yoko apologized with an embarrassed grin, turning around to face the newcomer and sizing her up. She looked like a pretty capable fighter, if a bit on the thin side. "I'm Yoko. Been here for about seven hours or so. You?" she asked, extending her free hand out to shake.
Callista took the hand to shake it. She knew that she wouldn't be able to sense anything from this woman, but that didn't stop her from attempting to. The block was still there, of course. "Callista," she said by means of introduction.
After they pulled away she considered the pool. "Not that I'm complaining about this place having a pool... but shouldn't that be impossible?" she asked, half-joking. She seemed to also have noticed the nonsensical physics that Yoko had been marveling over.
Yoko shook Callista's hand firmly, the way she would with her comrades in Team Dai-Gurren. "Good to meet you, and good to know I'm not the only girl around," she said with a chuckle.
She looked back over her shoulder at the pool and answered, "Should be. But there we have it, I guess. I've seen some pretty impossible things, but those were all under pretty intense circumstances. I've never seen a building or place where things just sitting around quietly, minding their own business while not making sense."
