Oh wow. I'm always kinda weary of 5.04 fics because they tend to be... uh... too intense for me I guess. Not that I'm a fluff girl, I love me a bit of angst, but The End was an ep that reached a line for me somehow and was just TOO depressing, so I don't like to dwell on it.

I remembered the vid, though, so I thought I should at least have a look at this one and wow, does it read beautifully. I mean, already I'm getting depressed because you can see how the two of them are developing into their future selves, even though they are only trying to do what's best and it's so so tragic (D:), but your writing is so compelling that I'm sucked in in spite of that. You don't overstate things but use just the right words for maximum impact. Brilliant.

And the image of Cas and Dean smoking pot is adorable, hot and bittersweet all at once.

This is the most believable depiction of Cas and Dean's development into their future selves I've read, and it's only the first part! Really great stuff :)

This... um. Might turn out to be more disturbing than depressing, I think - although also depressing. It IS the 5.04 world. /o\ I hope I don't scare you off with the disturbing-ness of it, but I'm sure it'll scare some people off.

And I love, love, love this comment. I often get a bit paranoid that my writing is too simplistic to be interesting, and this comment makes me feel a helluva lot better. So - thank you so, so much. ♥

I'm a hard nut to crack, it'll take a lot to scare me off :p Also, I think 'depressing' and 'disturbing' are interchangable when talking about 5.04 so I am prepared for both. Thanks for the warning though!

I don't think I've read any of your other stuff, so I guess I can't comment on your writing in general, but going just by this post that is very NOT TRUE. In fact, I really enjoy your writing style :) I have a tendency to go the other way and my fic ends up overstuffed and purple, which I feel is probably worse :p

Anyway, I'll stop before this becomes a debate. See you next time :)
