SPN is officially renewed. Um... yeeee.

So I'm a longtime Final Fantasy fan. I don't talk about it much, but my whole family can probably tell you how much I would hog the television and stay up until all hours of the night playing FF games.

FINAL FANTASY VIII IS THE ONLY ONE I'VE PLAYED AND I LOVE IT TO TINY LITTLE PIECES. Especially Zell. My god I'd take him and his tattoo everywhere I go if I only could.

I've never actually completed the game though. It's like my own personal Grand Canyon. My brother and I played it together when I was around 11/12 and were on the last disc, until I came back from boarding school one day to find that he'd deleted all of our saved games and the first disc was scratched so we couldn't restart. I spent 6 or 7 years intending to buy an affordable replacement and when I finally did, I started playing, but since I have to borrow my little brother's PS2 I can't play often. (In a cruel twist of fate, I am currently stuck on the part that my idiot brother was stuck on almost ten years ago that I helped him complete before teaming up to take on the rest of the game.)

ZELLL. I LOVE HIM. He's the first video game character I ever had a crush on, and one of the few action figures I've kept a hold of. O_o

Dawwwww. I actually didn't beat FFVII until after I beat FFVIII - I'd effed something up so bad in FFVII that I had to go way back to a saved game somewhere on the 2nd disc, and I got frustrated and didn't feel like doing it for the longest time.

VIII has got a badass ending. I think it's my favorite of all the FF endings. <3

Mine too! I didn't even realise you could have crushes on video game characters until he came along. ♥

Someday I'll finish it. And on that day, I'll probably throw an even bigger party than I did when I finished high school.

I think you are awesome. I can't believe I missed this post.

I used to run selphie.co.uk and Selphie_Tilmitt was my first ever LJ handle so your love for FF8 is apprieciated in this little corner here. I loved that at the end, it took people ages to figure out that Laguna was Squall's daddy :D Oh, the music for the garden still kills me.

I enjoyed FF9, I quite liked 10 with the monster arena, um... never played 11, 12? The hunts were good but it never quite had the same effect. I loved taking Siren & Shiva out of the box XD I had SO.MUCH.FUN. re-equipping them every ten minutes as well. And the third disc. Oh, third disc love <3333

Getting Bahamut & the giant Cactaur was immense! But I think they did better with Carbuncle in 9 because he could do ruby light, emerald light, diamond light, etc :)

SELPHIE! ♥

The music in general kills me. (I actually am really wanting to do an SPN vid to Liberi Fatali, just 'cuz. I'm waiting for the end of this season, though, out of hopes for some crazy footage.)

I didn't get Bahamut on my first run-through, (I was thinking of Eden, actually - Bahamut in FF7 was the bitch), but I did get the Cactuar, and it was totally by accident. XD But man, yeah. I loved the GFs in FF8 SO MUCH. Every time I played it I always put the same GFs with the same characters, just because some of the GFs seemed to match their characters, and I loved watching their summon poses melt into the animations. (Squall got Shiva, Zell got Quezacotl, Selphie got Siren.)

I only played FF9 once, actually. I should probably play it one more time at some point to give it another chance. I adored Freya in 9.

XIII is out in less than a week! \o/
