I was a little distracted by how cut off certain parts seemed. There was one scene where Dean jumped at something on the side of the screen, but I couldn't tell what it was due to a combination of a shitty signal plus the fullscreen.

I kind of want to see Dean go off the deep end a little bit, getting kid of sadistic.
I am so kicking Kripke in the balls if we don't get to see any of this. I've been begging for Evil!Dean for years.

LMAO! I kept thinking of green eggs during that scene. I mean, didn't they just cover that in November. Enough of the Sammy: Puppy Power! Just, lord, anything but the sap. Someone tell him "I forgive you" already so he can start to get past it.

I kind of find myself wishing that they had actually combined the two scenes, no matter how much the one in 4.10 rocked. And I also wish they had done it in a different setting. Instead of beer, they had sandwiches. O_O

It is interesting, though. Out of all the 'Dean-in-Hell', post 4.10 fics I read, none of them got Dean quite as dark as Dean got in the show itself. That's saying something right there.

And honestly, the only person who's going to be able to say 'I forgive you' to Dean is Dean himself. Either that, or one of the souls he tortured in Hell. ('Cuz really, it won't be right coming from anyone else. Not Sam, not Castiel, not any of them.)

It isn't that he needs to forgive himself, he will never do that. It is the act of someone saying it without having to be prompted.

I gotta admit... It's not over yet, but... the boy, Danny? That actor is on Saving Grace. I keep expecting Holly Hunter to show up, possibly naked. Although Grace and Dean would get along great what with the drinking and constant sex. *laughs*

I'm not sure if I've just ruined the ep for myself or not.

I ended up cracking myself up after the episode katbcoll January 16 2009, 16:23:50 UTC
Holly Hunter plays a detective in Oklahoma city. She sleeps around (they do explain why eventually) and is a hard drinker. She ends up with a "last chance" angel called Earl. Earl wears t-shirts (all kinds), jeans and chews tobacco.

I ended up cracking myself up after the episode by imagining Dean and Sam meeting Grace and what would happen if Slash and Burn, I mean Castiel and Uriel met Earl.

I concluded that Uriel's head would explode. Castiel would probably faint.

This episode was great! I liked the horror movie feel it had to it.

I liked the ending, I was all "OOOOO! VIDS PLZ!!" Best outcome of all would be Dean torturing Ruby, whether in Hell or in S4. :3
