I'm a procrastinator. Why panic now when I can panic tomorrow?
Honestly, I dunno what this means for LJ in the long run.
Honestly, though... I don't even get why LJ needs that many people to run the site. LJ's all user-driven content; all the employees really have to do is keep the servers running. (It was all their mucking around and changing things that was pissing people off anyway, so... um. Yeah.)
I've had one - since May or August 07. I've just never really been fond of IJ, though. It's always crunchy when people start flooding over there. Squeaky's been mostly nice, but I don't think they have the resources to support the entirety of the LJ fandom community.
I really don't see a legit reason to panic and leave LJ in droves yet.
So that's what the sudden kerfluffle is about. Too bad, although not surprising ... I hope the rest of them can keep their jobs and the site keeps going. I've got an InsaneJournal account where I repost much of this stuff, but it would be hard to reconnect with all my friends from here.

I should probably work on the Scribblit one.
People are also talking about DreamWidth again, too...
