Dean stared at the shifter in disbelief, keeping the silver knife trained on it. he'd faced - faced down, in fact - one of them wearing his own face before. hell, he'd seen him - it - die, knew what he'd look like with bullet holes in his head and time frozen on his face.

but this.

'your daddy mate with a string of christmas lights or something?'

the shifter smiled, a crooked, mischievous smile Dean hadn't felt himself break into in a long time. its eyes turned a deep red, flecked with gold, before paling to pink and going suddenly violet. they were kind of... pretty. no. not pretty. god, what the fuck was he thinking?

the shifter licked its lips, and Dean swallowed on a low noise in his throat. he really had the most filthy mouth.

'Dean,' it was saying, hands held up almost elegantly, nothing moving except his face and his goddamned eyes. 'i don't want to kill you. i don't want to kill people. i'm not... i'm not like the others ( ... )

I was once looking into colored contacts, but they don't make them strong enough for my weak-ass eyes. *sigh*

I already wear them, and started from a young age - mostly because I kept breaking my glasses. O_o

I wouldn't mind being blind once in a while, though... if I could have gray eyes. :-D
