How many ways can Win-Myun Kim express that certain Japanese men are good-looking? You'll have to find out in this week's Spwug posting, which deals with how the tokusatsu genre has changed a bit in the post OdaJoe era.

I'm just glad that he got to write "primeval masculinity," that's a personal favorite of mine.

"Men" is also face here. It's generally regarded to be "good looking face" with the fact that it's a pun with the English word "men."

I'm not sure how Tsuruno was even a tokusatsu actor during Heisei. Ever since the Heisei Kamen Rider trend started, I thought all tokusatsu guys were supposed to be good looking. All of the other Ultramans were much better looking than him.
