Ric's routine when he comes home hasn't changed much, from an apartment in the X-Factor building in New York to a tent in the Cadre's base camp on Mojoworld. He'd only meant to lie down long enough to get the niggling ache out of his upper back and yet...

The sun is setting. It is later than he thought.

"Ric? You are, it is-" He looks about, checks that he's not confused and he is still in his tent. "Hi." Waves slightly with one hand while propping himself up on two elbows.

Ric yawns, stretches, sheds his pants. "Hi. Scoot over."

He climbs in beside him. He doesn't like the extra arms, but he's learned to deal with them. And he'll admit they're good for some things...

He shuffles over, stretching out one arm to wrap around Ric if he wants to curl up against his own body. "I was not expecting to see you here." Leans his forehead against Ric's. "Do not mistake me, I am glad you are."

He snuggles close. Not that he'd ever admit he was "snuggling". The last thing he wanted was to end up a stereotype. Well, not the last thing. And he knew he already was a certain kind of stereotype. The crazy mutant kind, at least. But still. He wasn't snuggling. Just... curled up really close to his lover, trying to maximize their body contact. That wasn't snuggling.

"I got into a fight with Tabitha and she blew up a wall over my head. So Sam sent me home."
