Trip to Barcelona: Getting there & first day

So Wednesday the 9th of February was spent getting ready for my trip, packing, running errands, and drinking water to attempt to avoid the dreaded dehydration.  It was an incredibly cold day in NYC which I think had me ultimately packing more clothes than strictly necessary.  The thing is the forecast for Barcelona & Girona in Spain ran from highs
