I think I'm recovering from my immune system's periodic freak-out and multiple infections.  Still really shattered, but finally off medication.  I'm trying to play catch up without overdoing it.

Glad you are feeling better! Definitely resist the tendency to over do!

That's exciting that you are thinking of buying a house. G and I just bought one last summer and it has been very rewarding. we were lucky that Ellensburg has relatively affordable real estate prices (especially the last couple of years of course). As everyone told us, it is "a good time to buy."

I miss you guys. I always think of you when I cook something out of Vegan with a Vengeance. :) Also when I think about Christopher Eccleston's Doctor Who, or about role playing games.

Because of the terms of the will, we kind of don't have a choice - it's either let the house go to someone outside the family (which would HURT), or buy. We don't want to move. We want to stay here. Really, it's still a buyer's market because we're back to 2005 prices right now, and looking at rough calculations based on the first valuation we would be spending about the same in mortgage repayments as we would in rent anywhere else in town. So, provided the bank says yes, we shall be renting from them rather than the relatives. It is SCARY! But cool. But SCARY!

I think of you a lot, too. I'm just rubbish at letting you know that...!
