Running update.

So I haven't posted but I've been good about my running. I ran 16 miles each of the last two weeks! I'm getting back into other exercise this week so that will probably affect my running, but I'm definitely going to try and keep up longer runs than I have in the past. I need to find a 5k to start training for.

Woohoo! Congrats!

If you're running 16 miles a week you'll find a 5k a piece of cake. Depending on the number of people, the hardest part is elbowing everyone out of the way in the beginning.

Once the race schedule starts to show itself we can do a race together, if you're interested. My goal is to run three 5k races this year and hopefully finish one of them in under 28:00 chip time.

Definitely interested. It will take me a lot longer than 28 minutes :)

Excellent! I'm trying to entice all my friends to become runners...

Stay tuned for news and announcements along these lines, concerning Caldwell, in the next couple of weeks.

Running is good. I haven't been this week, because I've been shoveling snow instead, which is another good workout for me. I generally run a 5k in 25-27 minutes, depending on how quick I'm running and on which track I'm on. Shorter tracks mean tighter corners, which, given my knee, means slower running. Perhaps we should all run together or something.
