I just read Coraline. It was wonderful. But I finished reading it in the tub, so then after when I was showering the suds off I was very much on my guard and my eyes were constantly searching around for any movement. (It was a scary book.)

I wonder what I should read now. Reading really good books always makes me nervous to go on to the next thing. ( Read more... )

I don't know what kinds of books you like so I'm hesitant to recommend...but my favorites are The Waves by Virginia Woolf, The Hours by Michael Cunningham, and Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates. I recommend those to pretty much anyone. :D Well, aside from Secret Garden and Little Princess, which will always be my favorites, but I think you've already read those.

Ireland? *_* What are you going there for?

I have no suggestions.... however.... I'd really like to borrow Coraline. Also, I do hope there are no Psycho style killers lurking in your bathroom. Perhaps you should wear goggles while you rinse, just incase there are, so that you can see them. Maya would be 100% behind this idea. Yeah for goggles!

I adore Coraline, so I'm glad you liked it.

In terms of recommendations, Invitation to a Beheading and Unbearable Lightness of Being are two of my more recent favourites. Anything by Vladimir Nabokov is generally amazing.

You read in the tub... I would be petrified of dropping the book in.
