Arian Christianity (the predecessor to modern Nicene Christianity)

As Jewish Christianity began to develop its own character, Jesus was no longer considered to be just a man. He had a special relationship with god, and was perhaps conceived of by God before anything was created. But he was not an eternal man nor a god. My page on Arianism continues:

Well done! I read your article and I remember reading something similar in a Times magazine ten years ago. After reading it....I prayed to God to show me the TRUTH. Cause I was really confused about Jesus. Just a few months later after asking God for the TRUTH. I asked Jesus into my heart. I began a closer walk with Him. I would read the Bible and it felt like a breath of fresh air and I literally felt the presence of God when I was reading the Bible. My whole life changed. I was confused by all the different debates about Jesus similar to your article. I wanted the Truth about Jesus. You went through a plethora of history and religeous doctrine even quoted numerous scriptures. That must meen that there is some interest about Jesus. It's one thing to research it and write about the religeous history with your mind. But it is a whole other thing to experience it with your heart ( ... )

Hi Vexen,
I have to apoligize for some spelling errors, but I wrote it with my heart and soul. (Even though you don't believe that souls exist) Basically I wrote it from my heart and experience about my relationship with Jesus. You can experience it too. Anything is possible. I really enjoy coming on your site because I was looking at all your accomplishments on this site and see how you progressed since 1998 till now. All your work is very impressive but like you mentioned to me earlier there is still more work to be done. So keep up the good work!

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my comment, and thank you for allowing me to comment on your web-site.

May God protect you in the middle east as it is a dangerous place to be and as always I pray for the peace in the middle east.

Sincerely,
Camelia

Peace in the Middle East!

So tell me, Vexen... are you the latest spaniel being sent from the kennel? It seems the others are dead or in prison.

Heya, I know who you are after witnessing many bad tempered usenet debates between my crew and yours. Despite that, my leathered compatriot, I don't subscribe to the pointless, counterproductive and destructive inter-denomination politics as much as some others. So instantly, I hope you can either get over yourself and go away, or have another go at writing an introductory message.

You are free to believe whatever theology you think is true, I'll believe what I think is true. Tolerating intellectual dissent was always the first step of mature governance. The judge of who has the better grasp of reality will be gauged by our attainments in the real world, and by the hindsight of truth seekers in future centuries.

No-one has sent me: (you have arrived in my inbox just now), so this engagement is your doing, not mine. I am not convinced that you are *the* Lord Egan (I have seen many heated debates performed under pseudonyms by both the CoS camp and its detractors). Also, I have been around for ten years, it seems that if you wanted to ( ... )

Vexen, for the record, I am the real "Lord Egan". I've had this live journal account for years now. Sad to say, some demented child is attempting to stir up trouble. Please ignore him.
