Thank you. Her passing was in a way a relief though, in the sense that she had been suffering much too long, as was my grandfather to be faced with it day after day. Before the stroke she was a wonderfully vivacious and gregarious woman. Little worse fate could be imagined than for her to lose her ability to speak, yet she was fortunate to have so devoted a man at her side. They met in their teens and got married around 17 or 18. As my sister said in her eulogy at the funeral, a love story for the ages.
