My dad started yelling at my sister about housework or something. He is never home, he is always at work. He doesn't know how we live everyday. So, anyway he was yelling at her and made her cry. I know I hate when my mom yells at me and I hate crying. I've been sad for the past few weeks and crying a lot and I didn't like seeing my sister cry. I

my mom is exactly the same way, she is literally home about 10 hours a week, MAYBE, and when she is home, she's yelling at me about the house "not being clean". it sucks. a lot. nothing is ever good enough for her.
and she won't ever listen when i tell her that yelling never solves anything, to the point where i have to be like, "hello, you spentd all your damn time yelling at me and nothing has changed, let's try something new, eh?"
but yeah, never works.

I kept telling him to stop yelling because I had a headache and also we can both hear you at a normal tone of voice. He was yelling NO NO I WILL NOT STOP YELLING and all this other bullshit. He started rambling to us about how we never help or whatever but he is never HERE so he doesn't even KNOW. I stood up to him and I was very calm about it and I kept asking him to please stop yelling it solves nothing and making her cry does nothing. He continued being an asshole and wouldn't stop his fucking yelling.

my dad does the same thing. he yells at me and my sister (when she is here- she lives with my mom) but its always worse when she's here, because she is such an instigator- they both have to have the last word. but my dad always gets angry when the house isn't alll cleaned up (ridiculously so) by the time he gets home. If there are some dishes out he yells about why can't I do them without being told! when I have work all day and i'm the only other person home. I barely see him do them. He sits around and watches tv after his desk-job and I come home and do them after my 7 or 8 hours on my feet doing hard physical work at my job. but the yelling is just so awful. Bah.
