More House mutterings and lists

Well, more progress has been made. In addition to the progress listed below, I've now met with two electricians for estimates (they'll get that information to me tomorrow) and also met with an appliance guy who refurbishes stuff who checked on what I've got (the remaining 2 fridges are fine) and discussed the replacement of the one fridge, two

Boy, I bet the renters who were already in the place appreciate all of this! (Yes, I know that the stuff for the other apartments doesn't affect them, but still.)

Whenever I do stuff in the common areas Russ comments on it. He was jealous when he found out that all the apartments were going to get garden space. Today he got home when I was finishing up the basement floor. He came in the back door, looked down the stairs and said "Nice floor!" after which I explained that I was putting in a laundry area (he's used the laundromat the whole time he's lived there) and he responded "Wow, that sounds really nice" in a tone that can be best described as wistful. It should be ready to use by mid May, which means he can do laundry once or twice before he moves out... Ah well. ^_^
