Six Feet Under

Today on Sesame Street, Count von Count settled down to watch his favourite TV show Six Feet Under. His TV screen featured a logo really close to the original with the tree and the wording in the box. The next shot was a hard wood floor under a table and chair legs. It's so cool that they still do that.

One of my favourite Monsterpiece Theatre moments that I remember was the story of Agent Cookie investigating the town "Twin Beaks", trying to find out why it was called Twin Beaks.

I think if Sesame St released a "for the parents" DVD which included the muppets and pop culture references and skipped the stuff solely aimed at kids it would sell very well. They've have lots of inner children like me who would be laughing our heads off, and it would have the double benefit of being aimed at the grownups but wholesome enough to let the kids watch too.

I would so buy that DVD.

When I was still living with my parents mr_messy called one morning to turn on PBS immediately. It was a spikey, blonde haired mappet in a black leather jacket singing about the "Rebel L"

A couple of years ago, there was Joe Hundred-Guy who did look like Evan what's-his-name. He confessed to his butler that he was a fraud. He didn't really know how to count to 100 by tens. So the butler taught him.
