I had this one little idea-- Between the last two chapters, or maybe before the last two, Holmes still might write to someone to report what he knows and what he believes has happened-- even if it is to no other good than slowing down the pace of the ending. Also, he would serve as the voice of reason and narrator of the ending... since Greystoke has left polite society and can longer serve that purpose.

I think I will have Holmes provide an epilogue, just to lend a different perspective on everything that transpired. We'll see how it goes, I suppose!
