Friday! Hooray!

Ever since I took that promotion last summer my work life has felt overwhelming. Every week I'm just so, so grateful to get to Friday. Let's hear it for Friday! This particular Friday is fairly frigid, and tomorrow promises to be even worse. Our weather dudes say it will be the coldest winter day thus far, with temps never getting out of the 20s. I

Uh oh, I haven't seen a recent pic of Sting--he's not hot anymore? I'm having a midlife crisis. I used to be so pretty. I feel like such a hag lately but oddly enough all the men I used to think were hot still look hot to me in their old age. Moviestar women age well too thanks to whatever resources they have for that sort of thing and I'm always stunned at how beautiful 50 year old women look--they didn't look that gorgeous when I was a kid. They were grannies.

The world is getting younger.

I felt my bones creak in the cold when I got up this morning though and I'm not even that old. :(

Sting is extremely hot for a guy my dad's age. His wife, too. Great genes, both of them.

Hee, 50-year-olds were grannies when I was a kid, too. Then again--Emily is 15, and I'm 41. I suppose it is not impossible that I could be a 50-year-old grandmother.
