It was 2 am. And I was so tired that I was missing streets even though I know the area really well. It didn't occur to me :D

Ahhh, I saw you after the show and tried yelling for you (sorry!) and running after you, but you sneaked out so quickly!

i wasn't going off the road or anything, i just kept missing turns. the problem was that i know that area pretty well so everything looked familiar so it never occured to me that i had gone the wrong way until i hit a major intersection and went "oh shit". then i would take the right road and then miss another exit and once again go "oh shit", so i just kept overshooting everything :D i didn't want to spend another night in my car :(

You should have said something kiddo! We were all pretty beat, and if I knew you were as tired as that, there would have been no question about crashing! I'm sorry! =(
I am, however, very glad you (finally) got home safely!

Later...in another state.

:P

This is the best I can do for map related me-ness, though sadly no driving was involved.

For awhile, a close friend of mine had moved away to attend McGill University. McGill is pretty big, in my mind, so I could only admire her skills. Still, it took her so far away.

She is back now. :]

It's relative b/c it's a map.

(I really don't know. It's late. My excuse.)

I have, in fact, ended up in the wrong state before. ;)

Aw, that's so super cute! I'm glad she's back.

I had to draw it with a mouse so it ended up all sloppy.

Impulsive art.

How'd you manage the wrong statem bit?

Oh my, that's one of those questions where I know it's happened several times but can't recall them exactly... I know one time was on the Corvette trip. We were supposed to go to Wyoming but we missed a turn and ended up in Idaho instead, had to take a little backroad over to Wyoming. But said road went through a pretty birch forest so it all worked out well. Much of my lost zen comes from dad - it's not getting lost, it's exploring ( ... )
