Lol! I had a subscription to Soviet Life when I was in college, but probably not why you think. I took a Russian lit class and was ENTHRALLED with all things Russina, especially anythig to do with the Romanovs. I don't remember how I stumbled across Sovet Life, but the pictures were gorgeous and just fed my fascination.
