I think you should start with the bad next time so I can read this and then go off feeling happy. I loved the movie. Saw it twice already. I didn't even think about what you said until now and I agree. Hmmm...

The thing is, though, that I *really* enjoyed this movie, and I wanted to make that clear. I am very, very, VERY pleased overall with how it turned out... but it's still not and can never be the book. Never fear, the things that I take issue with certainly won't stop me from snatching it up as soon as it comes out on DVD. :)

Me neither. I guess it helps that I haven't read the book yet. I'm only on Book 2 because I didn't want to rush through them.

Wordy McWord on Gambon. I can't stand him as Dumbledore in this movie. Nary a twinkle from that man ugh.
Totally agree on the study hall-I heart Alan Rickman and I love how he stole every single scene he was in. Maggie Smith was delightful as well. More of those two and less dumbledore would go a long way with me.

And i felt slightly dirty when Harry took a bath. Just sayin'. . .
