No, though it can take a little longer for the snow to stick. Sand doesn't actually have anything that gets the snow to continue melting. You'd still have to shovel away the snow.

I am skilled in sewing, mending, and embroidery. I can also spin and knit. And I know where there is a flock of peaducks, and can gather eggs and an occasional one for food.
