What is it with submarine movies and male choirs? In K-19: the Widowmaker there was a big male chorus, and then now in The Hunt for Red October it starts off with about fifteen minutes of men wailing away in the background-- oddly enough, I was under the impression for the better part of my life that this was a movie about Sean Connery using a ( Read more... )

I'm actually kind of leery of octupi, but the Kraken didn't impress me much. I mean, I wouldn't want to run into it on a sailboat, but it didn't quite have the "ultimate sea monster" feel.

Okay! If I get the first chapter anywhere close to completion, I'll let you know! I did some serious plot-outlining and character-deepening during school today, so I'm all excited about putting more work into it. =D
But as a preliminary caution(?), do OC's offend you?

I know what you mean with the "long lost brother" thing. I like to sometimes connect OC's to canon characters, but either distantly, or to a really unimportant canon. [Case in point with the DMC/SH crossover's OC. Her dad didn't last more than an episode. XD ]

I'll be sure to pitch the first chapter your way, when it's finished. [If you don't mind / care / whatever. ^ ^;; ]
