I included the graphic novels in my answers, although technically I read them in the original comic book form.

Different compilations and printings don't make a difference to the underlying work. Translations may or may not change the experience for the reader. Different editions can differ widely or hardly at all. LT has the concept of a 'work' which is quite broad but tries to get to the essential core of a 'book'. I witter on a little... Happy new year.
