The first one is chilling--Beckett's cruelty and her vengeance, both. I can see that happening. And the second...ow. OW. And I mean that in a good way. :-) Great use of that line from the trailer.

He doesn’t bother to smile, not this time, and when she turns an ocean stretches between them.

“Just keep telling yourself that, love,” and it slices through her like a vengeful gale as she retreats toward her future.

Okay, so that was half the drabble, but I had to quote it...the stretching ocean, how she "retreats toward her future." Nice work!

I so want Lizzie to kill Beckett. Esp. if he kills Weatherby. Not sure where I heard that spoiler, but it seems to be floating around a good bit.
