This weekend is the "Alice" episode for "Once Upon A Time" and I am happily bouncing in anticipation. While Rumpelstiltskin has been my favorite character since almost the moment he first appeared on screen, that doesn't mean I'm not also thrilled to get another version of The Mad Hatter. I'm laughing that we're going to be getting yet another tea

I didn't read the books until college and prompty feel head over heels with the words and imagery. And Dodgson really is fascinating--I've read some sections of his journals that have been published and truly enjoyed them.

While I wasn't as attached to Graham as a lot of people are, I do still miss him. And seeing him get killed off makes me fear for the rest of the characters!

I can't wait for this episode either! I read Alice again a few years ago (and I should really read that to Chicklet - I think I know what she and I reading next) and this take on it sounds very interesting. I also love that they are introducing another world into the show. One connected to Fairytale land but not the same. It makes the 'world' of the show so much bigger! I seriously want Oz to show up next season as well.

Oz would be great to visit through this show! I like that we saw several different doors while "in" Jefferson's hat--very much "the wood between the worlds." So we certainly do have an established mechanism for further explorations.
