I'm elated that Veronica actually told Logan what she was feeling, and that he believed she could change. Veronica was so right when she said that Logan deserved to hear all of that. Thanks for writing this!

Wonderful epilogue. The Wallace fake-out was great--a tip of the hat to all the fics that have them jumping into bed without any talking. I agree with Logan when he says that her saying ILY is different! Why would he think she loves him? She never says it and really doesn't act like it. She's usually actively denying it to herself and trying to make sure she doesn't do anything that would show him she does. Kudos!

Thanks! I realized I had sort of fallen into that "jump-into-bed" cliche at the end of Chapter 5, mainly because it would be funny. So I decided it would be funnier if V was such torturing Wallace, which she seems to like to do. :)

OK, I'm back! Later than I thought, but definitely back!

Sweetie, I could not have envisioned a more perfect ending to this story if I tried -- I loved it so much that it actually made me kind of sad for a minute because we'll never be able to see this moment on our screens. And damn it, we deserved this!!

So many things I loved about it, both great and small, so I hope you'll bear with me here.

Logan pulled his hands out of his pockets and they fluttered with nervous energy. He picked up Wallace’s stapler and began turning it over in his hands.

OK, this is one of the small things but I loved it because it was SO PERFECTLY LOGAN. You really nailed the nuances of each character and this line right here is the perfect illustration of how you did it. It's little things like this that make the piece feel like part of the verse, part of the show. Because if Logan were having an uncomfortable convo with Veronica in Wallace's room, he would DEFINITELY do this.

“I believe you are, I do,” he said gently, resting a hand on her ( ... )

Thanks so much! I love your detailed comments. It's good to know what works when I'm writing other stories.

I'm glad you liked the bit about the stapler. I feel like I always have to write bits like that for Logan, because he would never be just standing still and listening--the hands are always in motion.

And yay! to good tears--that's what I was going for. :)

Also, I just went to the door and checked, but there was no naked!Logan yet. When will he be arriving?
