He asked as he allowed the tire iron to connect with her headlights. From the corner of her eyes he could see her flinch imperceptibly.

I love the flow of these sentences, well this whole fic. And I love reading Logan's thoughts during this scene, especially when he asked her if she knew what it cost him. So sad but very beautifully written. I hope the end means thing are going to change? Update soon!

Veronica kept an eye on Logan and saw the sneer he sported as he opened the car door. For a brief moment their eyes connected.

‘I’m sorry.’

‘I forgive you.’

I have to say that i think this is my favorite line. Anyways i love this story, i can't wait 'till the next part!! : P
