Darby Fitzhenry is a piece of work. She screws up and tries to destroy Torchwood as revenge. UNIT has no jurisdiction over Torchwood, someone should remind her of that fact. Torchwood answers solely to the crown. Her methods are underhand too!
Glad Jack managed to manipulate Ianto into seeing a doctor. His injuries need proper treatment to get him back to full health, that's more important than ever now it's just the three of them.
Poor Jack, he just wants Ianto to be safe, but trying to get him out of Torchwood wouldn't guarantee his safety. Cardiff isn't a particularly safe place anyway, what with the rift, and he can't hide Ianto away from everything that could prove hazardous to his health. Ianto would have no life if he did.
