After 2+ days of no power, we gave up and went to my Momma's.
Showers, heat, and hot food has never felt so good. Staying here tonight as they are saying it will be Sunday before we get power back.

Power finally come on this morning - oh, happy light! happy warmth! happy not having to drive three miles for coffee only to find 5,000 people already in line!

We finally got it back on Sunday.

Came on after midnight - I admit I got up, turned on all the lights, and did the happy I-Have-Power dance of joy!

we are a big ol' mess, that's for sure. today it was rain and wind and every time the house shook from a gust, I was afraid we were going to lose power again!

hope your friends and family are okay - I think the worst is over and hopefully we'll get a chance to recover. don't you just miss pacific northwest weather ;) - ?
