Came home from a meeting in Seattle (yes, my job has been eliminated as of February 1st but by God we MUST and WILL have meetings!) to find that two lovely people think that I am a special snowflake!

That is SO typical - they're ring everything possible out of the good employees whose jobs they're eliminating. *grumble-grumble* :( BUT I know everything will work out for the best for you - I just know it! :)

I know! They keep telling me I'm a valuable asset - yet I also seem to be a disposable one ;).

Anyway, thanks for the good wishes! It's going to be interesting, that's for sure. Now, if I could just get paid for writing fanfic by the word, I'd be rich!

Ballard has been home, for 10 of the 12 years I've lived in Seattle. :)

I lived one year in Greenwood and one in Cap Hill, but Ballard was where I bought a place.

Are you close?
