The past few weeks I've been re-watching the show and I have a random, completely obscure question about one of the guest characters.

Meg tells Veronica earlier in the season that Lucky is a friend of the family. He does handyman stuff for their family and her father just loves him. There's not much more to it than that.

I thought there was the possibility that Lucky was Mr Manning's unacknowledged lovechild. And that Manning paid Lucky to do handyman stuff to relieve some of the Christian guilt that having a secret child out of wedlock creates (for him).

I'm not really sure about the theory of Lucky being his love child, because Meg "says" (in Veronica's dream) that her parents are trying to set her up with him ( ... )
