Kristen Bell is willing to finance the Veronica Mars movie

 If Kristen Bell had her way, she'd make the big screen version of Veronica Mars herself.

Bell told The Hollywood Reporter at Wednesday's premiere of her new comedy, You Again, that she "absolutely would" finance the movie out of her own pocket if the opportunity presented itself, but she's certain that it won't.

I loved the show, but I think it's time to move on and let go of it already. It got three seasons and a good ending. What more is there to tell? I would hate to see it make something like the Dead Like Me movie, which had recast roles, missing characters, the leads themselves had aged significantly, and it just lost the spark that the original show had.
