I'm not sure that what Joel Silver wants right now is priority. WB is hurting. Speed Racer was considered the biggest flop of 2008, and Watchmen was supposed to be big and it was a disappointment at the box office, so much so that the studio outright said they were done with R-rated superhero movies after it.

I'm really not saying this because I didn't even want a movie in the first place (I thought the show got progressively bad so I have no hope for a film), but because I don't want other people to keep getting their hopes up. You guys might really want to rethink another fan campaign. They KNOW about you guys from all of the other campaigns. At a time like this, maybe it would be best to save your money.
