My understanding of eBay is that you can set a reserve price. I.E. It won't sell unless it goes for $X dollars or more as a bid. I don't sell stuff on eBay though, so I'm not positive - that's been my experience from bidding though.

I'd have no interest in said DVDs given my waning interest in the show and my own copy collecting dust on the shelf. But there may be someone else out there who has an interest, or even a collector of some nature who would find the value more in the autographs than in the DVD set itself.

Good luck!

It's true, you can set a reserve price if you don't want the item to sell for any less then say, $50, but most people just list the item and have no reserve price. Most people start out with a reasonable starting bid though. People are more likely to bid on an item without any reserve price as opposed to an item with a reserve price, and you'll usually end up getting more money without a set price, believe it or not, it's true. I don't known anyone who's in the market for a signed VM DVD set, but I'm sure that there are still some die hard fans that would find such an item interesting. My advice is that you post around to a few different communities first to see what kind of interest something like this might obtain. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Hope that helps.

I believe it was Kristen, Teddy, Jason, Percy, Kyle, Ryan, Francis, and Tessa. Possibly Rico, too... I can't remember right now. It's burried in a box (I just moved) so I'd have to dig it out to check for sure on Rico.

I'm still a die hard fan of the show and would definitely be interested in purchasing it, depending on who it was signed by and if the price were fairly reasonable :)

Also, as a side note, can I ask where and when you managed to get it signed? I'm so jealous and I can't imagine what a great experience that must have been!

I got it at the Season 1 DVD Launch Party way back in September of '05. Which is funny because I actually worked on the show for seasons 2-3 and they kept joking that I didn't have to go there and wait in line to do all that, I just had to show up with it at a party or something! I wish I'd known that then because I went to the launch party I had mono and a 102.5 fever!

Wow, I cannot express how jealous I truly am :P It must have been so much fun to work on the show! (Although the novelty probably wore off after awhile, I just can't personally imagine what it would be like) Do you mind if I asked what you specifically worked on?

If you ever do decide to sell your autographed DVD set, please email me at rockxsteady@hotmail.com. I'm definitely interested in it :)

I did background and then in season 3 I started doing stand-in (I was the only stand-in that was over 5'6 and had red hair, so I stood in for all the tall actresses and red-headed actresses). My soon-to-be-husband was the boom guy is season 2 and 3 so I definitely have a lot to thank that show for besides 2 years of paychecks! It was a lot of fun to work on, but it did sort of ruin the show for me. I was a fan in season one and was so excited to start working on it. But by season 3 I was still a fan, but not as excited when New Episode Day rolled around anymore. Mostly because I'd already seen it!

AND, I had to stop posting on fan sites so much. I often forgot what had and had not aired yet and was so worried I'd give something away on accident that I stayed away.

I would be interested as well!

I agree with the others about maybe setting a reserve price, so you could at least make sure you get the minimum price you'd like. You could start out with a low bid to encourage bidding, but you still risk getting a lower price than you'd be willing to accept. Please update us if/when you post on ebay!
