Something from the most recent episode has really been bothering me and just makes it look so awkward. So, I'm gonna use screencaps to try to explain.

i definately see what you mean, but i think it's because veronica was so shocked with it, and piz initiated it... is their kiss by the elevator like V's previous ones? because i would think so, since SHE initiated that kiss.

Probably because she was in to all the other kisses, but this one took her totally but surprise, and at the time was kind of unwanted. It wasn't til after she came to whatever decision she came to. :)

I liked that it was awkward. If they had a perfect first suprise kiss, it would have been... meh.

True, I just found it too distracting. Looking at it made me wonder if it was as awkward as it looked, and it almost made me think she was thinking "Can he really be that bad a kisser?" afterward. Then she ran after him to find out. The second one kind of looks like she is the man in it. I just can't get over it. I watched it a bunch of times to make sure I wasn't going crazy, and it just kept standing out as awkwardly creepy.

The kisses sorta bothered me, but mainly because I just can't stand the idea of Vizzzz..... Otherwise, I didn't see anything wrong with them. Awkward, yes. But I think that was the intent.

Of course it was awkward. I don't think Piz meant it to be a kiss that was supposed to take her breath away. He knew that Veronica was saying she didn't feel that way about him, and so he did it to say that he understood and would stop persuing it.
