Okay, someone please shed some light on this for me. VM loses viewers for last night's episode so it's definitely going to be cancelled? Did I miss something? I mean, I know it's always been up in the air but I wouldn't think that would make that much of a difference especially since it has been consistently high for the previous episodes. UNLESS, I'm totally missing something. Am I?

Don't stress hun.
It won't get canceled just because of last nights episode. I think it's more of a consistency thing. As long as the number go up some what, it should be fine. And remember even if the CW doesn't pick them up, thats doesn't mean another station won't! :o)

veronica mars is an extremely good show with great dialogue, cast chemistry, and mystery arcs. it would be extremely sad to see it go, but could we even begin to imagine what a series finale would be like? oy vey.

Every season everyone says the show is getting cancelled, but yet it always comes back. It's pretty much one of the WB's highest rated shows and most critically acclaimed shows. The numbers are good for a third-rate network. I wouldnt worry about it.

Also, the only reason this season "sucks" for some people is because the WB killed it by putting it on hiatus for stupid reality shows and experimenting with these standalone mysteries. Im sure next season theyll get back to the basics. I, for one, though, think this season has been amazing.

there is no such thing as the WB anymore. in fact, VM was never a WB show.

as for the CW killing it, that isn't really true because the show has been declining in quality since season two when it was still a UPN show.

also, Rob Thomas has been quoted as saying that if there is a season four it will be standalones only. the show we all knew and loved has been irreversably changed and i'm sad to see it go.

a season one rewatch is in order. stat. i need to be reminded of what made me fall in love with these characters and this show.

Thanks for all the stats, that puts it in perspective more. Supernatural is not in danger? (sorry I'm such a pest, I'm not involved in SPN fandom so I don't really know what's going on with the ratings and everything, but I do like to watch the show).
