If you vote "yes," what do you think really happened and why can't he tell Veronica?

see that whole conversation between Veronica and Logan confused me because I assumed that the rape during the TJ trip was a faked rape- I thought it was Nish's faked rape..

Nish wasn't raped. I think you mean Nancy. ;D

I'm kinda confused about why people think he's lying anyway. It would basically be character suicide if he made up either one of his stories because if he did, he was obviously doing something dodgy that he doesn't want Veronica to know about. And they're not going to have another "Logan screws up... yet again!" storyline, when they already have the Madison one going on. I think the hotel fire was enough, if they now decide he did something else while there, it would just get ridiculous.

Plus, what would be the point? I mean, unless anyone's planning to go have a conversation with Mercer anytime soon then we're never going to know whether Logan was lying or not anyway.

I don't know.. I just think they've shown Logan screwing up enough without adding this to the list too.

I was going to write pretty much exactly what you wrote. But you wrote it better than I would have so I won't bother!

Get outta my brain! I was just going to post almost that exact same comment. Now I'd just like someone from the opposing side to comment.

I answered maybe, but I don't think he's lying. I think it's much creepier and interesting if Mercer got Logan to go with him for a fun weekend and really it was to drug him so he could establish an alibi.

Honestly, that scene weirded me out because it DID feel like he was lying. Honestly, the way Jason played it, I just sensed that he wasn't telling the whole truth.. sigh. I dunno. I HOPE he's not. I thought this was done and it'd just be awful if the writers did something that would further tarnish some people's idea of Logan. I will love him always and I trust him, but.. sigh.. I'm worried.

I thought it was really odd, too. Why would the writers even bring it up again? I can believe that this question was bugging Veronica for six weeks, so she HAD to ask. (And what brilliant timing, Vee!)But Logan's response was pretty vague. It felt like he was being a bit dodgy. Speaking of dodgy, why didn't he just say "no" the first time Veronica asked if he'd been with a hooker? It's like they are setting something sketchy up with Logan, but I'm not sure what. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. I hope I am.

Exactly! I would love to be able to say for certain that I don't think Logan is lying, but I don't feel I can. I trust Logan entirely, in terms of his character, but.. I just didn't get the sense that he was being completely honest there. I feel like Jason Dohring is a good enough actor that you can sort of get that sense from him and.. I don't know. I feel like I know Logan and his voice.. I dunno. Something was weird there. I will have to rewatch it to be sure, but I feel like.. all was not right. I hope this is just the writers trying to make us doubt Logan in preparation for what was to come in the episode (i.e., the whole Madison thing.. which, wasn't really Logan screwing up or anything, in my humble opinion, but perhaps they just wanted to stir up tension and doubt about Logan).. but I'm just not sure.

I, too, hope I'm being paranoid about this whole thing. I really don't want Logan to be lying.

I'm sure it was just the writers way of tying up loose ends with the case. Obviously most people figured that it was the night of a fake rape, but when they wrote this episode they wouldn't have had any fan reaction to ep 9 yet, so they wouldn't have known that. And this is really the first opportunity they've had to clear the air, because Veronica obviously couldn't ask him about it last week.

I think the reason Logan sounded so weird when talking about it was just because of what happened last time they got into that discussion. It didn't end well lol. And it probably sounded to him like she was accusing him of something. Plus, he probably feels really guilty about that whole thing. I mean, if it wasn't for him asking Veronica to get him out of jail and giving the alibi then Mercer would have stayed in prison the first time. So he's probably really not comfortable talking about all that again ( ... )
