Usually I don't ask questions about the show like this, but I watched Leave it to Beaver again and have a question.
Why did Veronica just kick out her mom like that? She was still drinking yeah, but when her mom first came back she was all happy. Why did she want her to leave when she came back from the hospital? I mean (I'm assuming ( Read more... )

b - she lied about it.
c - she was still drinking behind their backs
d - her dad made a huge sacrifice by breaking up with someone he truely cared for to try to keep his family together for Veronica's sake.
e - her dad had been injured while rescuing her from that Aa-hole and was going to need help through his recovery. Veronica probably didn't think her mother was the right person since she couldn't even take care of herself. That's why she called Alicia in the end.
f - Veronica grew up and realized her mother was never going to change, so she had to make the very adult decision to ask her to leave. (One of the most poignant moments in the show, imo)
