cut just in case...

In Season 2's "I Am GOD" episode, who is the one calling Veronica at the end? I mean, why call Veronica? I know it's a dream and all, but they do show the C4 right next to her in a backpack. How she knew it was Dick's, I have no idea.

The call is from Beaver/Cassidy. In order to detonate the bomb, he called a certain number on his cell phone. That's why V has that "oh shit" look on her face when she hears the ring and sees the C4.

wow that is a maaajor spoiler and i hope the person who posted this isn't still watching season two and is just asking a random past episode question.

In episode? It's "whoever" calling the bus. The purpose of that last scene is the reaffirmation of her belief the crash was meant for her, so they're all dead because of her. C4's symbolically "for her". The call's symbolically "for her."

The thing about Dick's bag? Well, the episode has made her theorise that the crash might have been meant for Dick and Beaver, and the bomb was in Dick's bag, and wound up on the bus because he gave the bag to Betina (anyone else notice Dick's mom and "booty buddy" have the same name? Squicky).
